　　作为一个新兴的现象和话题，社会创新在设计领域已受到广泛认可和讨论。社会创新设计是专业设计为了激活、维持和引导社会朝着可持续发展方向迈进所能实施的一切活动。（EzioManzini，2015年）。问题在于在人人设计（大众设计）的时代，这个任务是如何由设计师和设计机构（专家设计）来完成。本次研讨会“在行动”旨在探讨研究人员、从业人员和所有参与者之间的问题，特别侧重探讨如何设计院校为作为专家设计机构来实现这一任务。
　　为展开讨论，我们初步假设“在行动”有三类形式：学术活动，实际行动和社会企业。第一类是正常的教学，或以社会创新主题的项目和研究；第二类实践行动是指对外的社会和实践活动，由高校机构直接推动或参与，并带有一定的研究意图；第三类是指促发社会创新的机构化，成立独立于设计机构之外的社会企业。三种形式代表了参与者和参与对象之间不同的结构形式，以及不同程度的社会创新设计。
　　在DESIS网络和DESIS中国区域集群的框架下，研讨会是分享经验，案例和反思社会创新设计的平台。如何体现在正常的课程或研究计划中融入新的课题或问题？如何作为一个高等教育设计机构支持和促进社会创新实践？如何培养社会企业，并完成一个社会创新的设计项目？什么是专家设计的特定价值，在这些过程中设计师和设计研究人员的角色？社会创新当前的知识积累与设计挑战之间有哪些差距？所有这些问题（但不限于）将在研讨会上进行探讨。

Asan emerging phenomenon and topic, socialinnovation has been widely recognized and discussed in the field of design.Design for social innovation is everything that expert design can do toactivate, sustain, and orient process of social change towards sustainability(Manzini, 2015). The question is, how can it be done by designers and designinstitutions (experts design) when everybody designs (diffuse design). Thissymposium “In Action” aims toinvestigate the question between researchers, practitioners and allparticipants. It would particularly focus on what design schools, as expert agencies,can do to make it happen.
Toopen the discussion, we assume roughly threeformats of “in action”: academic activities, practical actions and socialenterprises. The first are normal teaching and researching activities fedwith social innovation subjects or projects; the second means external socialand practical program to do or participate social innovation with academicintentions; the third refers to trigger organizational process of socialinnovation to be independent from design agency. The three formats indicatedifferent structures between actors and objects, and different degree of designin social innovation.
Inthe framework of DESIS network and DESIS China regional cluster, the symposiumis a platform to share experiences, cases and reflections in design for socialinnovation. How to embody new subjects or concerns in normal curriculum courseor research program? How to support and promote social innovation in practiceas higher education design agency? How to incubate a social enterprise andcomplete a design project for social innovation? What are the particular valuesof expert design, roles of designers and design researchers in those processes?What are the gaps of knowhow between current academic and professionalexpertise and designing challenges in social innovation? All those questions(but not limited) would be explored in this symposium.

陈述和展览项目征集Call for Presentationand Exhibition
　　为了更充分地分享和讨论主题和议题，除了特邀的专家演讲外，我们向国内外广泛征集“行动”项目，通过审核筛选，将以会议陈述和展览的形式呈现。项目征集的关键标准是以“行动“，这种行动可反映为教学活动、应用性研究、实践性项目或社会企业等。陈述可围绕项目本身展开，亦可作为项目反思，延伸至相关议题讨论。优秀的陈述将被推荐至《创意与设计》杂志“服务设计与社会创新”专栏做全文发表。
Besideof invited speeches, we are opening a call for all kinds action projects ondesign for social innovation in China and globally, in order to have wide andrich state-of-art and open discussion around concerns. Those selected projectswill be invited to have presentation and be part of exhibition duringsymposium. The key criteria of the project is “action”, which refers to teaching-basedproject, applied research project, practical project, social enterprise projector other kinds. The presentation may focus on project, or extend discussion onthe related subjects as reflection of projects. The selected excellentpresentations and projects will be recommended to the journal  for full article publication.

10月25日，提交项目陈述摘要征集，500字以内（题目、作者、摘要内容），可图文并茂；
10月31日，项目接收通知，提供参展要求；
11月15日，提交陈述材料或项目海报和展览材料；
Oct.25th 2016, deadline of submission of abstract, less than 500 wordsincluding title and author and pictures;
Oct.31st 2016,  Notice ofacceptation and providing the guideline of exhibition;
Nov.15th 2016, Submission of presentation and exhibition materials.
